CA Pass - CA Fail

Congratulations to all those who cleared CA exams and entering in to the members world. All the best to those who could not clear this time, but I am sure they can fly with colors in the next attempt.

This is the time we often bombarded with suggestions/gyan by many fellow students, seniors, members or friends and family – it’s true for both passed and failed candidates. I want to give a different perspective covering both types with my article here.

Driving License – Do remember, clearing or not clearing your examination is only a matter whether you have got the final driving license to drive your vehicle on road. Having a license does not prove your real worth of driving skills and not having a license doesn’t say you are a bad driver. Give a thought.

There are no failures but only lessons learnt – You are a CA passed candidate now, let’s say awaiting membership number – please remember there are already couple of lakhs of members out there and you are an addition with your own unique skills (I am stressing on uniqueness otherwise you are just an addition). If you could not clear this time, there is always next time, but you should remember if that next time is a real immediate next attempt or just a dream.

People are watching you – A Chartered Accountant in Practice - Regulatory bodies watching them. CA Passed Candidate - Friends and Family are watching you, what would this guy do now – job or practice or entrepreneur himself? CA Failed Candidate – Friends and Family again? What’s the difference, anyway you are clearing it next time. But my point is, give a damn of who is watching you, just move on and do what you want.

What’s next? – Your eating and sleeping won’t change drastically with this result either you pass or fail and why hit your head to wall now? Keep your cool and take couple of days break and start afresh, it’s just a break, I would say enjoy the success and enjoy the failure too (remember there are only lessons learnt and no real failure).
