FAQ :

This notification updates the fixed tariff values for edible oils, brass scrap, areca nut, gold, and silver under the Customs Act, 1962.

The revised tariff values are effective from the 1st day of December, 2021.

The notification specifies tariff values for Crude Palm Oil, RBD Palm Oil, other Palm Oils, Crude Palmolein, RBD Palmolein, other Palmoleins, and Crude Soya bean Oil.

The tariff values for gold are set at US $575 per 10 grams, and for silver, they are US $750 per kilogram, with specific conditions for different forms and imports.

The tariff value for Areca nuts remains at US $5252 per Metric Tonne.
