RBI releases Draft Directions on Money Market Instruments under Section 45 W of the RBI Act, 1934
In pursuance of the announcement made in the Statement on Developmental and Regulatory Policies dated June 6, 2019, the Reserve Bank of India has released today Draft Call, Notice and Term Money Markets (Reserve Bank) Directions, 2020; Draft Certificate of Deposit (Reserve Bank) Directions, 2020 and Draft Commercial Papers and Non-Convertible Debentures (Reserve Bank) Directions, 2020. Comments on the Draft Directions are invited from banks, market participants and other interested parties by January 31, 2021.
