The other 11 states are Andhra Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, and Uttar Pradesh.
The system aims to ensure food security for beneficiaries, especially migrant workers and their families, by allowing them to get their ration from any Fair Price Shop nationwide.
Aadhaar seeding of all ration cards and biometric authentication of beneficiaries through the automation of all Fair Price Shops with e-PoS devices are essential.
