From January 1, 2021, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is increasing the transaction limits for contactless card payments and e-mandates for recurring transactions. Both will be raised from £2,000 to £5,000. This move aims to encourage wider and safer adoption of digital payment methods across the country.
