The Income Tax Department has released the Excel utility for ITR-6 for Assessment Year (AY) 2025-26.
ITR-6 is applicable to companies, except for those claiming exemption under section 11 of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (income from property held for charitable or religious purposes).
The first version of the utility was released on 14th August 2025.
Alongside the utility, the Income Tax Department also released the JSON Schema and validation files on 14th August 2025.
