The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially announced the schedule for the May 2025 Chartered Accountants (CA) Examinations. The exams, which include the Foundation, Intermediate, Final, and International Taxation - Assessment Test (INTT-AT), will be conducted across various centers in India and overseas.
Key Exam Dates
- Foundation Exam: 15th, 17th, 19th, and 21st May 2025
- Intermediate Exam:
- Group I: 3rd, 5th, and 7th May 2025
- Group II: 9th, 11th, and 14th May 2025
- Final Exam:
- Group I: 2nd, 4th, and 6th May 2025
- Group II: 8th, 10th, and 13th May 2025
- INTT-AT: 10th and 13th May 2025
Important Notes
- No exams will be conducted on 12th May 2025 due to Buddha Purnima, a gazetted holiday.
- Foundation exams include shorter-duration papers (2 hours for Papers 3 and 4), while INTT-AT papers are 4 hours long.
- Advance reading time is applicable for most papers except for MCQ-based and composite papers.
Application Process
Candidates must apply online via the Self-Service Portal (SSP) on the ICAI website. The application window will be open from 1st March 2025 to 14th March 2025 (without late fees). Applications with a late fee of Rs 600 or $10 (for overseas centers) can be submitted until 17th March 2025.
Exam Fee Details
- Foundation: Rs 1500 (India); Rs 2200 (Bhutan/Kathmandu); $325 (other overseas centers)
- Intermediate: Rs 1500 for a single group and Rs 2700 for both groups (India)
- Final: Rs 1800 for a single group and Rs 3300 for both groups (India)
- INTT-AT: Rs 2000
Correction Window
Students can modify exam city or medium preferences from 18th March to 20th March 2025.
Exam Centers
The exams will be held in over 200 Indian cities and 9 overseas locations, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, and Kathmandu. The detailed city list is available on the ICAI website.
Candidates can choose to write exams in English or Hindi, except for INTT-AT, which is conducted exclusively in English.
