The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has postponed the upcoming Chartered Accountants Final and Intermediate examinations scheduled in Kathmandu, Nepal, in view of the ongoing widespread protests in the country.
In its official notification (No. 13-CA (EXAM)/SEPTEMBER/2025/V) issued today, ICAI clarified that the exams originally planned for September 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15, 2025 will not be conducted on the scheduled dates in Kathmandu. The revised examination dates for affected candidates will be announced in due course.

Re: Postponement of Chartered Accountants Final and Intermediate Examinations, September 2025 in Kathmandu (Nepal) only.
No. 13-CA (EXAM)/SEPTEMBER/2025/V: In continuation of the Institute's Important Announcement No. 13-CA (EXAM)/SEPTEMBER/2025/IV dated 8 th September 2025, it is announced for general information that in view of the widespread protests in Nepal, the Chartered Accountants Final and Intermediate Examinations to be held on 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th September 2025 stand postponed in Kathmandu (Nepal) only.
Revised dates shall be announced in due course.
However, it is clarified that other particulars / details as announced vide Important Announcement dated 30th May 2025 hosted on www.icai.org shall remain unchanged.
In short, students may note that there is no change in the schedule of Chartered Accountants Examinations announced earlier with respect to other cities / countries / centres.
The candidates are advised to stay in touch with the website of the Institute, www.icai.org.
