Launch of Self-Paced Module Test (SPMT) Portal
The Examination Department of ICAI has launched Self-Paced Module Test (SPMT) Portal - https://spmt.icai.org for the candidates who have completed prescribed learning hours for respective Self-Paced Online Module A: Corporate & Economic Laws and Module B: Strategic Cost and Performance Management. Self-Paced Online Module is part of the New Scheme of Education and Training launched by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) on 1st July 2023. Under the new scheme, a candidate who has passed both the Groups of the Intermediate Examination shall be required to undergo and pass Self-Paced Online Modules to become eligible to appear for Final Examination.
The Examination Department, in its endeavor to facilitate the candidates, has now provided the flexibility to choose their preferred examination date, city, and exam slot from a comprehensive list of options. This flexibility empowers the candidates to create a testing schedule that aligns seamlessly with their commitments.
Candidates, who have completed prescribed learning hours for respective Self-Paced Online Module through the portal https://lms.icai.org/ , can undertake the Self-Paced Module Test, by registering him/her self for the Self-Paced Module Test at https://spmt.icai.org, using their SSP login credentials. These tests will be computer-based at the specified test centers. Exam fee for taking the Self-Paced Module Test is :
- India. - Rs. 500
- Nepal / Bhutan - Rs. 850
- AbuDhabi/Bahrain/Doha/Dubai/Muscat/Kuwait - USD 150
