The CBIC had recently notified a new return for the composition dealers, which is GSTR-4(Annual Return). The return is effective from FY 2019-20 and the extended due date to file the same was 31/08/2020. However, due to various issues being faced by the taxpayers, the taxpayers were requesting for an extension in the due to file the return. Considering the issues being faced by the taxpayers the CBIC took to Twitter and notified that the due date for GSTR-4 has been extended to 31/10/2020.
