The Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) is set to launch integrated services from its e-invoice-1 and e-invoice-2 portals. These enhanced services will be available on sandbox portals from 18th July 2024 and on production portals from 1st August 2024. The integration allows for seamless inter-operations, meaning taxpayers can use the same login credentials and API tokens across both portals for e-invoicing and e-waybill services. Importantly, the e-invoice-2 portal will serve as a backup during technical issues with the main portal, enabling taxpayers to continue printing, downloading, and cancelling e-invoices without interruption.
