ESIC will directly run all newly constructed hospitals and those approved in the future, unless a state government specifically requests to manage them.
Yes, in areas where ESIC infrastructure is not available within a 10km radius, beneficiaries can get outpatient services from ESIC-empanelled or Ayushman Bharat hospitals without a referral.
Super speciality services in cardiology, nephrology, urology, and oncology will be strengthened in select ESIC hospitals in Delhi/NCR and will be extended to other ESIC hospitals gradually.
ESIC has extended the relaxed conditions and enhanced benefit of 50% of average daily earnings for up to 90 days under the Atal Beemit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana for another six months, until 30th June 2021.
