Research proposals are invited from members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
Yes, proposals must be on pre-decided sub-themes and broad areas, including topics like Green Finance, Social Audit, ESG Performance, Crypto-currency, Corporate Social Responsibility, and more.
Applicants must be a Member of ICAI. Weightage is given to those with at least 5 years of experience in the research subject domain and who hold a PhD.
The duration of a research project should not exceed one month from the approval date, unless a longer period is justified and approved.
An eligible honorarium of Rs. 1,00,000/- is offered per study, payable after the submission and approval of the research report.
Any copyright, intellectual property right, or patent arising from the research work vests with ICAI, though the researcher will be acknowledged.
