CA Exams 2021: SC to hear PIL filed by CA Students on Monday, 28th June 2021

The PIL filed on behalf of 987 students across 20 states and 3 UTs by Advocate Anubha Shrivastava seeking relief measures is scheduled to be heard by the Supreme Court on Monday, 28th June 2021.

Concession in Registration Fees given by ICSI to students who lost their parents due to any reason including COVID-19

ICSI has decided to financially support students who have lost both or either of their parents or legal guardian due to any reason. These students can now avail a 100% concession in fee, payable at the time of registration to the CS Executive Programme.

ICMAI to conduct CAT Exam in Online Mode. Check Time Table Now!

ICMAI CAT (Foundation Level) Exam will be held on 25th July 2021 via Online Mode. The exam will have Multiple Choice Questions to be answered online from home. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Graduates and Post Graduates from recognised universities can now take Direct Admission in CS Executive Programme

ICSI at its 277th meeting held on 19.06.2021 has decided to grant exemption to Graduates and Post Graduates from recognized Universities from appearing in CSEET and enabling them to take direct admission in CS Executive Programme.

Articled Assistants who have cleared IPCC and have completed eighteen months of practical training, are now eligible for Industrial Training

Under the amended Regulations, articled assistants who have passed the CA Intermediate paper and have completed a minimum of eighteen months of practical training shall be eligible for industrial training.

6000 CA Students write to the CJI to hear their plea out regarding July 2021 CA Exams

6000 students have pled the Chief Justice of India - Hon'ble Justice Nuthalapati Venkata Ramana to direct ICAI to provide an unconditional Opt Out Facility, increase in number of attempts for Old Course Students and to conduct an additional examination.

ICAI to not transfer CA Students to an examination centre in a particular zone of the city opted by them

It has been clarified by ICAI that it is not possible to accede to the request of the candidates of Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, Chennai and Pune for transfer to an examination centre in a particular zone of the city opted by them.

ICAI gives conditional Opt Out Option for July 2021 CA Exams

The opt out can be exercised by login into the examination portal and submitting the COVID-19 positive RTPCR Report, Aadhar Card and Self Declaration form as prescribed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

CSEET to be conducted on 10th July 2021 through Remote Proctored Mode

ICSI will be conducting the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test on 10th July 2021. Due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the same will be conducted through Remote Proctored Mode instead of conducting the same from Test Centers.
