ICAI opens Registration for Online Home-Based Practical Training Assessment
30 October 2021 at 15:56ICAI will be conducting the next practical training assessment from 20th to 23rd November 2021. As such, students who have completed their 1st/ 2nd year of practical training during July 1, 2020 - September 30, 2021, are eligible to appear in this test.
More than 2.25 crore ITRs for AY 2021-22 filed on Income Tax e-filing portal till 28th Oct 2021
30 October 2021 at 12:17Over 55% of these ITRs have been prepared using the online form available & filed on the new portal. More than 1.95 crore ITRs for AY 2021-22 have been e-verified till 28th October 2021. Out of this, 86% were verified using Aadhaar OTP.

29 October 2021 at 08:31It has been reported by NFRA that at least 1011 auditors/audit firms have not yet filed form NFRA-2 for the reporting period 2018-19. As such, ICAI has advised to file the same.
GoI releases Rs 44,000 crores to States and UTs in-lieu of GST compensation
29 October 2021 at 08:30After taking into account earlier release of Rs. 1,15,000 crore, total amount released in the current financial year as back-to-back loan in-lieu of GST compensation is Rs. 1,59,000 crore.
Gurugram DGGI Unit arrests 3 persons for running fake firms and evading GST of more than Rs 48 crore
28 October 2021 at 08:28Two persons were arrested from Delhi on 5th and 9th October 2021 on charges of orchestrating a fake billing racket involving more than 20 fake firms where more than Rs 22 crore of fraudulent ITC was taken thereby defrauding the exchequer.
