Gross GST Revenue of Rs 1,29,780 crore collected for December 2021

The gross GST revenue collected in the month of December 2021 is Rs 1,29,780 crore of which CGST is Rs 22,578 crore, SGST is Rs 28,658 crore, IGST is Rs 69,155 crore and cess is Rs 9,389 crore.

CBIC notifies restrictions in the availment of ITC from 1st January 2022

CBIC extends deadline of GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C for FY 2020-21

Mumbai Based CA arrested for generating Fake Input Tax Credit

On 14/12/2021 (Tuesday) GST Officers of Thane commissionerate arrested Vikram Jain, a Mumbai-based CA for generating fake invoices worth more than Rs 500 crores to tune a GST of Rs 92 crores without actual receipt of goods.

Payment of GST compensation to States in times of COVID-19 pandemic
