Wrong pan mentioned in itr

Dear sir,

I was filling the ITR of a firm , In which mr. X is the one of the partner.,with a digital signature of mr. X

In the verification / personal details section of ITR, when i gave the PAN no. of mr.X , it was shown that

PAN no. in  verification / personal details is not matched and when i gave the PAN no. of a HUF in which mr. X 

is the karta, it get accepted...

Now in the acknowledgement , the digital signature details showing the PAN no. of HUF.

Is this legally correct??? if no....please tell the possible solution...
