i am fighting a legal battle with my wife and she has filed in her IT returns an amount of Rs. 1,46,250/- as intrest amount from her fixed deposits.
my question::
what will be the fixed deposit amount(approx) on which she is getting this big amount yearly?

At normal rates the interest rate is around 8.5 to 9 % so calculating it from 8.5 % the Fixed Deposit amount may be approx Rs 17 lacs.
