What to do after ca final exams ?

I want advice from the members over here.

N simple question which may be going in most of the our CA final students who have given their exams right now.

What to do next ?? Cant sit idle for 2 months and wait for the result.

"Learn and Earn" need is there for me. And I want to learn work for project financing, service tax etc which I have not learned during my articleship..

So I searched 2-3 CA's in my city who are ready to teach me but without any pay.

Secondly one CA firm have given me a offer that they will pay me Rs. 10000 p.m, teach me all the aforesaid work.. But with a condition of doing job over there for 1 year.

I am confused now which way to go for.

Apart from above if there is any other suggestions as a option to do, please guide me.

.

Thanks in advance !!

Your decision should be based upon what you wish to do in the future, i.e practice or service or the domain/profile that you wish to work in, and on the basis of that only, you should decide what to do now. If you are really passionate about project financing or service tax and would like to shape your career in that field(s) only, you should join the firm which has got a better client base, without worrying about the pay (however, I do not agree to the condition of working for one year).

Or you may also do short term contract jobs in some corporate entity (preferably find a bluechip major). They are generally for 3-6 months and are meant for some particular assignments. Upon completion, you may have a permanent stint, or even otherwise, you will have corporate experience which will only help you in the future. And the time upto your results will be well utilised.

So, pursue your plans and make a choice accordingly that gives you the "relevant experience".

Good luck for your endeavors.
