How it will help you in your career depends on what you make out of your qualification.

Part qualification may not help you.

from the perspective of an Indian, it is a very expensive course, please also note that unlike ICAI, CFAI will charge you something like 15-20k as annual membership fees so keep that also in mind while taking the course.
