Valuation of stock under icds

How to go about valuation of closing stock under icds including vat kindly illustrate with examples. Whether vat has to be added to opening stock, purchases and sales in addition to closing stock

for ICDS, the amounts that are recoverable by the assessee are to be included where as per As we don't consider those amounts into our calculation.
Eg : excise duty can be claimed in the form of cenvat credit which shd b included in ICDS inventory calculations.
suppose Rs.10,000 recoverable as CC to the assessee during the course of purchase then in ICDS we will disclose as increase in cost of the purchase due to inclusion of excise duty on which CC is recoverable then there would be decrease of profit of Rs. 10,000/-
