As per provisions of 167(1)(a):
If the director is disqualified u/s 164(2) for non filing of F/A or A/R for 3 years .....
then he shall vacate from all the companies other than defaulting company.
Does that means that he shall be eligible to be reappointed after the expiry of his term of 5 years in
the defaulting company ?

say suppose at the end of 3 rd year the default u/s 164(2) was committed. So he will serve office for 2 years and again will be eligible to be reappointed for the next term of 5 years referring to the proviso in 167(1)(a) ?
