Useful Debate - New CA - Practice or Service??????????

For 1st coule of year s i think we have to do service and then can  get into practice as its really difficult to create a client base sufficient to earn enuf revenues...

In my view a newly qualified CA wanting to start hi s own practice should start with a job for atleast 2 years in a small company, b'coz in such co's CA goes through each and every aspect of business. If he start practice immediately then his engagement would be limited to mere income tax return filling, small ROC matters, some certifications etc.

In my view time has come to give a management blend to the practice. we should concentrate more on propriety aspect which is only talked about in some CA firms.

We should ac t as consultants if we want to earn more and more money.

It is my view other views are appreciated.

SME segment with International business set-up for jobs is preffered and prefer highest positions even you have to go for smallest company.

As I have cleared my ca final exams in July 2008, presently doing my training. I am confused abt whether to go for job or practise.

I feel job is better than practice for fresh Chartered Accountants. Expereince of job is very much helpful.

CA proffession is already a highly prestigeous one. Some small scandles can not touch its heights. On its initiation it provides us two directions to explore either we opt for Job in the corporate world or we can start practice.

If one opts for practice it must be backed by intense and diversified articleship. In addition it also requires you to attach yourself with a well established Firm otherwise you need tons of patience which is rare in our new and young generation.

In case of selecting work in one corporate i.e. service, scope is not limited. They are providing attractive packages. If one gets a chance one must go for that as the only requirement is good marks, positive attitude, and enthusaism. Which our youth is full.

Hence, one should go for first service if you get a chance. Whole life is there for practice.

If i would be a fresh CA, I would definitely be employed sumwhere till I am about 35. Then after 10 years of experience, lots of money and contacts, I would take up consulting as a full time profession....

 why it is said ca is doing practice-after 1 year he is practicing--------after -20 years his still practicing----------after 50 year he is still he is practicing--------?

EVEN THE SAME THING IS SAID FOR DOCTORS.

AND SACHINE -SAURABH-RAHUL-LAXMAN -ANIL  WHETEHR REITRED OR AT THE VERGE OF RETIREMENT HAVE TO DO PRACTICE- NET PRACTICE.
