IN MY OPINION NO,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

One of my friend did the samething,

now he is earning  good amount of money and having core/depth knowledge of tax n audit field

if  you think that current firm is good to expand you work knowlede further, you can go with that

According to me it good to enter into partnership with same firm to some
extent period, till you feel that  you should moveon.

Good if ur tuning is good with ur employer . . . because in starting face u recd lot of help and idea from him which u not recd in training period. . . . .

Yes,,, you can have his partnership..... But if you beleive he could give full support to you on each and everything.......

First whether u have a faith in him n vice versa  n u should be able to

judge whther it is  worth being a partner with him and whther u will gain

from doing a partnership business,

after taking into a/c ur past experience with him, the type of clients , incme of d firm,

growth aspect of ur  future & wat u want to achieve in life.

Most importantly will u get both job satisfaction + the remuneration u want +Treatment that like of a partner.

These are some of the important factor which one must  u  consider before taking a major decsion like this.

Answer is subjective but these are my views. Before entering into partnership with your boss, ask yourself the following questions:

1. Was your principal like a mentor to you during your articleship?

2. Is your principal interested in your growth personally?

3. Does he encourage you in taking more challenging assignments?

4. Were you satisfied in working with him and other colleagues and clients during your articleship period?

If you have answered all the four answers in affirmative, you can go ahead with joining as a partner with your principal. Else, think twice.

Positive points:

If you have joined after considering the above points, the following positives can be availed by you:

1. Good scope for learning which may help you if you start practice independently or you become the senior partner of that firm in the future.

2. You will be under the safety net of your principal if he is interested in your growth personally.

3. You will get the required confidence to face more challenging assignments and tasks in the future.

Negative points:

1. I cant guarantee whether you will get a lucrative pay in the begining if your firm is a small or a medium size firm. You have to negotiate it with your principal based on your needs.

2. During the initial period of your career as a partner, I dont think you will be sllowed to exercise powers equal to what your principal exercises.i.e. signing off financial statements on your own accord, appearing before IT authorities on your own.i.e in short, your level of independence may be limited in the initial years.

These are my individual views only. I may be wrong also. All the Best for your career:)

no, probably.

Agreed with The Invisiable CEO
