At bigger firms/ cities, level of exposure and variety of work is more, lots of things to see and learn.. You develop your personality, communication and presentation skills.
The drawback would be - it might drain you out of all your energy. You might not have much time left to study, may have to skip coaching classes if you are taking any, work pressure, etc.. It can also be a economically feasiblity affair, if you are not originally a resident of that city.
If you can handle the pressure and do the studies along with go for it, else stay where you are, get okay-okay exposure and concentrate on studies to become a CA.
Of course, things maybe easier at bigger firms if people are and management is good, and it might not be good at smaller firms if things are haphazard.
I say don't go for sole-proprietorship firms, they rely too much on interns, prefer partnerships. suggested - mid-sized firms.
