hi friends

i  am  FAYEZ  from  KANNUR,  KERALA.  i have qualified for PCC  in Feb  07. i am in need of some help from you. i  would like to undergo ARTICLESHIP TRAINING   in my  district  itself.   BUT   IS   THERE   ANY   DIFFERENCE   IN   UNDERGOING   ARTICLESHIP TRAINING IN MY DISTRICT   WHEN   COMPARED  TO  UNDERGOING   IT  IN  A BIGGER CITY  LIKE CHENNAI, BANGALORE OR  COCHIN?

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TAKING ARTICLESHIP TRAINING IN A BIG FIRM COMPARED TO A SMALLER FIRM?

WAITING FOR REPLIES FROM YOU  AT THE EARLIEST.

with regards,bye.

I'm also a PCC student from Kannur. I'm doing my articleship in Cochin. If u find a good firm in kannur itself, then its better. Bcoz u can balance ur studies with training. It will be more secure for u. But regarding development of communication skills, its better to prefer cities like Chennai or Banglore. I think there are good firms in Kannur itself, such as Varma n Varma.....

hi this is vignesh frm b'lore...any body pls provide me question papers of previous exams group 2 icwai inter revised syllbus.....

At bigger firms/ cities, level of exposure and variety of work is more, lots of things to see and learn.. You develop your personality, communication and presentation skills.

The drawback would be - it might drain you out of all your energy. You might not have much time left to study, may have to skip coaching classes if you are taking any, work pressure, etc.. It can also be a economically feasiblity affair, if you are not originally a resident of that city.

If you can handle the pressure and do the studies along with go for it, else stay where you are, get okay-okay exposure and concentrate on studies to become a CA.

Of course, things maybe easier at bigger firms if people are and management is good, and it might not be good at smaller firms if things are haphazard.

I say don't go for sole-proprietorship firms, they rely too much on interns, prefer partnerships. suggested - mid-sized firms.
