I am handling accounts for a marriage/banquet hall in Kanpur. I want to know the reasonable monthly professional fee as per the current market.

My responsibilities include:

Complete day-to-day accounting and books maintenance

GST return filing (quarterly)

Reconciliation and maintaining records

Regular checking/updating of accounts

I have also set up/improved several accounting processes and handle additional accounting-related work whenever required

I use my own laptop for the work

The business is seasonal: around 6 months work is comparatively high and 6 months it is quite low. I don't need to sit in the office for 8–10 hours daily. I can visit around once a week/4 times a month and handle the accounts accordingly, with additional visit/work if genuinely required.

What would be a fair monthly fee for this kind of work in Kanpur?

Also, should GST registration, amendment/cancellation, notices/replies, departmental work or other special CA/compliance-related assignments be charged separately from the monthly accounting fee?

Please suggest a practical Kanpur market range, not metro-city rates.
