you required Tan no to deduct TDS as per section. 203 A of Income Tax act 1961

IN CASE OF SELL OF IMMOVALBLE PROPERTY...THERE IS NO NEED TO OBTAIN TAN NO. TDS CAN BE DEDUCTED..FORM 16B CAN BE FILED FOR TDS DEPOSIT IN GOVERNMENT TREASURY
