YES only tuition fee but supporting fee (like annual , etc) not covered

That's 175000/- tution fees for BAMS
You can Claim ,1,50,000 Tuition fees under 80C section in income tax.

and also if you are taken loan for higher education you can get deduction for intrest payment on that loan up to 8 A.Y
