Sir/Madam,
I sold an inherited property on 22.02.2022.
I want to purchase a new property within 2 years and now I want to keep the Long Term Capital Amount in Capital Gain Account Scheme.
I would like to know by when I am supposed to put the money in Capital gain account scheme to avoid the tax penalty as right now the money is lying in my normal saving account. Thanks

Deposit it before tge date of return filing or actual date of return filing whichever is earlier.
You can deposit before 31-7-22
You have to deposit the CG amount in the bank account before the due date of filing of Income Tax returns.
