Things to follow after starting pvt ltd company

Apart from annual tax return what other things are mandatory to follow for small private limited companies (small start up work from home)? Like I read somewhere general board meeting needs to be held as per schedule. So if anyone here can give me a list of things that needs to be followed will be of great help to us and other users on this forum.
