Rs. 39000 would be mentioned as the Income from Fixed Deposit and Rs. 4000 would be mentioned as the TDS deducted thereon..

Rs.39000 will be shown as income from other sources

and rs.4000 will be show as prepaid tax and can be claimed as refund or adjusted against tax as the case may be.

Rs 39000/- will be taken as TDS is a deemed income.

Gross 39000/- will be shwn as income from interest.

TDS of 4000/- will be deducted from Tax Payable on Total income...
