Do u have any news regarding change of TDS rate, in ref to Payment to Contractors??

if payment made to individual tds is 1%others 2%.

if payment made to individual for freight there is no tds.

in july 2010 it was made 1% from 2%

Contractors-Incase of Indv/HUF - 1% others 2%, No Ed.Cess/Sc&Hr Cess/ if pmt excedd Rs.30000/-  or

Rs.75000/- during the year.

No TDS on Freight charges/TRansporters

don't make exuse for study

last change come in force in July -10 after thats not change in TDS Rate 

its still 1% on ind/HUF 

and 2% for Other
