Individual & HUF - 1%
Other than Individual & HUF - 2%
last update was on july 2010
after that, no information
if payment made to individual tds is 1%others 2%.
if payment made to individual for freight there is no tds.
after 01.07.2010 no information related with changes.
in july 2010 it was made 1% from 2%
Contractors-Incase of Indv/HUF - 1% others 2%, No Ed.Cess/Sc&Hr Cess/ if pmt excedd Rs.30000/- or
Rs.75000/- during the year.
No TDS on Freight charges/TRansporters

its still 1% on ind/HUF
and 2% for Other
