i want to know if tds is applicable on hiring of equiptment lyk sound systems for seminars. if yes den under which section- 194I or 194C

if sound system hiring on contract basis than TDS u/s 194C otherwise its take on rental basic than on equipment TDS charged u/s 194I @ 2%.
its applicable u/s 194I, since those items comes under machineries, the tds should be deduct @ 2%.
If the property on rental basis tds will be @ 10%.
