Tds is a part of direct tax. And GST Is indirect tax
TDS as per Direct Tax is as usual. No Change
TDS as per GST (Indirect Tax) will be deducted and deposited Just like WCT as per VAT.
Name under Both Tax is same, so there is confision.

There is separate concept of TDS under works contact in GST.
Kindly note works contract is defined in whole new way under GST which is different then definition of works contract under existing laws.
