If a company deducted and deposited the tds in wrong section, can it be changed or the deductee can claim it?

Correct the same while doing TDS return filing...
As per process following, TDS section can be corrected as well as deductee can claim it also.
Yes ,TDS can be claimed as it will be shown in form 26AS .Actually irrespective of the fact that TDS was deducted and deposited in the wrong section, if the TDS Return is filled correctly then ultimately deducted TDS can be claimed better
