are we required to issue e-invoice for any flight thats been cancelled and credit note is issued by airlines? the flight charges were considered as business expenses
No separate e-invoice is normally required from recipient side for cancelled airline tickets. The airline may issue a credit note/cancellation document linked to the original invoice. ITC should be reversed to the extent refund/credit note is received. If cancellation charges are retained with GST, ITC may continue on that eligible portion.
