The revised consolidated tds file is downloaded by me and the same is showing the error in one of the challans, but when checked by me, the amount , interest, date ,challan no. all these are matching with the hard copy of the challan and also with with the details available at TIN Central system.

You need not do anything about it. The data uploaded by the bank is incorrect.
? to be done is :- say you got this error message in Q2 of 2011-12 U verify the status of your Q1 return.
The challan you are talking about must already have been included in Q1.
If the same challan is repeated in a later quarter you will get this kind of message.
