Tax on sip after 10 years

I have just started investing Rs. 8000 per month in SIP of four companies. I have vision of atleast 15 years. So, just wanted to know, whether maturity after 15 years will be taxable or not.

I know, profit after one year will be counted as Long term Gain. What is %age of tax on maturity.

Thanks,

Sip means systematic investment plan.investment basically in mutual fund and any income from such mutal fund is exempted both i.e. principal & interest.

If you r making investment in shares ,then long term gain on share is exempted from the tax i.e. if share are hold for more then 12 month, then capital gain is exempted.

Dividend is exempted from the tax.
