Is the amount received on maturity of LIC is taxable?
if yes under which head it should be taken as TDS u/s 194DA is deducted
is whole amount is taxable or maturity amount - premium paid is taxable?

But based on TDS criteria......... it can be said that the total redemption value is taxable in the year of receipt........
