Tax exmeption on hra

I know that if i am staying with my father and giving rent to my father and if property belongs to him, i can claim tax exemption on the rent paid to my father.

I have bought the flat 6 years back and have cleared loan on that. Now can i gift deed that property to my father and start paying him rent and claim tax exemption under HRA? I am salaried employee. My father will pay income tax on rent earned as per his tax bracket (10%). I am under 30% tax bracket.
