I purchased a flat this year and have made the following payments :
1. Advance to Builder : 84000
2. Stamp Duty : 91840
3. Registration : 20648
My query is can i claim the above payments for tax deduction? if yes under what sections?

advance is not appropriate word, but it would be payment towards cost of flat / property.
stamp duty and registration cost would get capitalized in cost of property.
all are deductible upto 1 Lacs under sec 80C

what documents would i have to submit to claim deductions for above items? would the receipts for each amount be sufficient?
no documents required now for ITR submission ,
receipts and registration deed copies are enough for cost of registration,
for fees u have sumitted the same to registrar by DD, and have receipt also.
If i purchased a flat then, should i claim the deduction of stamp duty paid u/s 80C in the year of S.D. paid or in the year in which i got the possision of flat? plase reply immediatly.
