TDS Means tax deducted at source

if we see the terms
we know what is tax and we know that it is paid on our income
here SOURCE means where the income is generated .
THAT MEANS TAX WILL BE DEDUCTED WHERE YOU EARN INCOME .
the objective behind cutting of tds is to reduce the time gap between generation of income and payment of tax on it.
