Stipend received in cash
I will complete 2 years of my articleship training by the end of Jan,2017. Till now i have received stipend in cash due to ignorance of my Principal. he has agreed to provide A/c payee cheque for the rest of training period. Can anyone suggest me what can i do to avoid consequences in future regarding stipend i have received in cash till date?

You can write a request letter to ICAI also get it signed by your Principal

Receive a written confirmation from your principal regarding the payment in cash because of ignorance of mode of payment. And his assurance of the future payments to be bank stating his bank account ,name of account holder,ifsc code, micr code. and get it submitted at icai, ito address.
Yes...totally agreed with Swati, also gurmeet you can call ICAI and ask them other things and exaxt procedure
