Starting package

Sorry for saying,but the no.of CA`s increasing day by day now.may be in future we will be treated as engineers which is available more then demand.currently 550000 students are percuing CA & more & more adding day by day.

Well,starting packages for fresh CA`s depend on city.may be in mum /del/bang & other metro cities has more packages but in small towns /cities the average package still 2.5 to 3.00 lacs pa.

It's depend upon your caliber and knowledge but as per me, it should not be less than 2.5 lacs.

I agree with Angsuman. The number of CA's is increasing day by day and the demand is bound to fall. The market is already showing the signal. I dont know whats wrong with the professional Institutes. I am sorry to say but now a days passing CA has become much easier. Same thing is with ICSI. ICSI has declared that it will increase the number of its members to 50000 within 2015 to cope up with demand supply gap. Both ICAI and ICSI have gone crazy and to increase the number they are comromising with quality. If it continues both the profession will start loosing their reputation.

In cities like Bangalore the Avg pay for a Fresh CA is atleast 5.5 Lakh per annum. Lot of people get more and a lot of people get lesser. It just depends on how well you match the employer's creteria.

Also i dont think there are any quality issues in the new passouts, the level of difficulty is all relative.

It can vary and is dpeendent on your performance in your CA Exams, your articles, your past performance and can range between Rs. 2.00 Lakh p.a. to Rs. 20 Lakh per annum.
