St3 return

Hi friends,

I have filled a ST3 return online using offline excel utility, however it is rejected for below resaons

  Return has been rejected for the following errors :

• The Financial Year and Period of Return selected in Upload Screen (2014-2015, April-September) does not match with the Financial Year and Period of Return entered in the XML file (2013-2014, April-September) 

I have checked this and it was my mistake , so I amended it .I also called this as revised return as I am trying to correct a mistake. When I try to save return I am getting below error. 

 Please correct the following errors :

• You can not file Revised Return without filing the Original Return.

Can anyone please advice if I am not right to take this as a revised return? 

Also, this is the first return, so do i need to do anyting else other than filling it online?
