I had paralysis due to brain hemorrhage 6 years back. My left side is completely paralised. I cant use left hand for any thing. I am working in a company and earn.
My question to tax expert is
1. Can I take the benefit of sec 80U & 80DDB simultaneously? kindly explain

You can claim for deduction under both sections.
* u/s 80DDB is for medical expenditure of self .
* u/s 80U deduction is allowed to you because you are handicaped (sorry to express). You requird Form-10IA to claim deduction underSec 80U.
