Hey.

I cleared my CPT in May 2010 with 140 marks. I had studied accounts and maths regularly. Other subjects a few days before exams. In May 2011 in my 3rd attempt I cleared IPCC Group 1 with 210 marks, when I just gave 1 group. Meanwhile I have given 8 attempts for Group 2 and not cleared. During my articleship I was lost as to how to study. However since last 1 year I have been studying and not cleared. I called for Certified Copies and it seems stupid as to why they have not given marks and they are 4-5 marks less than that displayed on the website. I did not study from Practice Manual earlier but this time I did. I had decided I would try one last time but I felt I was not prepared so did not give the exam in Nov 2014.

However, I was thinking of quitting now. I am 23 years old and a girl. My friends have cleared and have started working. I am considering a MBA. Sometimes I just feel I should not quit, but complete what I started. Even if I do not work as a CA in the future.

You should not quit. But you can also join any other course and also appear for CA exams.

dont even think of quitting... because winners never quit and quitters never wins...

just reveiw once that what u r lacking...

confidence is the formost requirement u need to clear and rock in ur life... dont show others that u cant do... u can do this ... just move on with positive thought

Getting 140 is not a easy task in CPT. Give ur exam one more time since u didnt give the exam this time. Revise the topics as much as u can. Once u pass IPCE, u will feel fresh in final. You can join other courses and can quit CA but u need to start afresh in any course. At last u will end up reverting back into CA. So dont quit.

23 years is nt a big age....a couple of years here there to peers doesnt make any difference.As of now by hook or crook get through group 2.Nothing in life is straight and easy ,one fails or looses he needs to ask,why?..Knowing the reason yet you are reckless then its serious.!...or if you have not figured out the reason then figure it out.

Take up may 15 ipcc group 2.you would surely be excited and feel fresh abt finals as Ashish has rightly pointed above.

Also ICAI will come up with new CA final curiculum that has lot of positives to bring in...

Lastly Of all above Don make CA your life.Let CA be the part of life.This will keep you out of Rat race going around and will help Figure out Whats that you wanna be in ur life or Whats the purpose of life, both at spiritual and Materialistic level...

There are billionaires who dont find peace in life also you see a man in an hand to mouth situation living a peaceful life...

Success has nothing to do with money,fame.its all about living a peaceful life.To Find a Peace ,you need to find the purpose of life.

I go with above don't quit Ca even I am rank holder in B.Com next may I am taking both groups this is my first a attempt before writing only I last hope .I decided to quit ca I joined MBA distance but I am not satisfied with MBA than again started ca with hope to get rank ..

Same here, I was in the same suituation at the age of 23, I took me 5 attempts to clear PCC.

Today I am 26, & A CA, CS & ICWA.

Don't worry u can do it. Study practice manual, rtps thoroughly. That would definitely help u. CA is such a precious course. Only people who deserve it gets chance to do. V r lucky to part of such a beautiful course. Study with passionate. U will definitely win.

I think your not concentrating your studies properly and your mind is diverated in other things

so if you are financially sound just leave it the course and enjoy the rest of the life

CA is not only way the success in your life
