It is quite obivous that your should give your recent attempt, because until and unless you face the exam how you can understands its pressure and one more thing that I am awaiting my ca final result and before exam the same things was going in my mind what ever going in your mind.

But i gave my attempt and i found that its quite helpfull for me for next attempts.

So please you go for it,

3.5 months are more than enough to crack 1st group...i did both groups in 3 months by self study n hoping to clear

Try to do full course of 1st group anyhow in initial 2 months (avg 15 days per subject) by making a time table n sticking to it...

Then u will be left with around 45 days...Give atleast 10 days to each subject (divide the whole course of each subject in 10 days)...n revise what you did in 2 months and do practice manual,RTP simultaneously... 

You will definately clear if you stick to your time table.

From my point of view 3.5 months are enough to crack one group if you are dedicated. Stress & fear is normal to come at this stage of CA course but overcome it n do disciplined study...& try to remember what u read...

U can clear in 2.5 months also both groups if you study seriously.But you have a lot of time. Approx 3.5 months which are sufficient to even score rank.

Have faith in yourself and you will be able to do it.

According to me u should atleat give it a try in this attempt based on the below rationale.

1. Financial Reporting:-As u have already completed Amalagamtion &  half of Valuation portion and some small chapters so the major pending portion 4 u is Consolidation & other half of valuation.It will probably take not more than 15 days to complete.

2. SFM:-In this again u have completed two major chapters of forex & derivates, small topic of dividend.So the major things pending to be done is Portfolio and Capital budgeting and some small chapters.This again wont take not more than 20 days of time.

3. Audit:-U can complete entire audit in maximum 8-10 days.

4.Law:-It will take time as u have not completed any chapter.It will take most probably around 30 days to complete the entire stuff.

Total days in ur hand :-  111 days

Time utilised in completing first reading:-75 days

Remaining for Revision:-36 days.

I calculated the days required by taking very liberal view.

You are having Sufficent time . By proper planning  you can Clear Exams.

there is still  some time left for u to take preparation for exam ...if u think that u can't complete the syllabus before exam then its expected that u will not even try to complete da same ..i think u should give a try ...all da best ....

YOU HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO CLEAR 1 GROUP FROM NOW EVEN IN SELF STUDY

Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying. So go a head. Never drop any attempt. Examination is a chance. This is CA Exams so focus on Quality reading.
