Service tax filing dates?

Rule 7 (2) of Service Tax Rules : Every assessee shall submit the half yearly return by the 25th of the month following the particular half-year.

Accordingly, for the current half year (Oct to Mar 2016) due date would be 25th of April 2016 unless CBEC extends th due date via official notification.

Original ST-3 filing date:

for period of Apr-Sep - 25oct.

for oct-mar - 25 April.

In case of revised return- within 90 days from the original ST-3 filing return date.
