Can anybody please guide as to whether ESIC deductions are applicable or not to senior citizens ??]

It is same as applicable for others but he should still be an employee of a factory or establishment.
If the person is retired, he can still avail the benefit by paying a contribution of Rs 120 per year to ESI authorities. Needles to say there wont a employer contribution as he is not a employee.
